A collective is a business that sources and facilitates name, image, and likeness opportunities for athletes of a specific university. The first known collective was the Gator Collective that supports athletes from University of Florida and launched in September 2021. It is projected that every Power 5 Institution will have a Collective entity in place by the end of 2022.
