Currently in the NIL space, the majority of deals flow towards 2% of athletes (predominantly football and basketball with 20k+ Instagram followers). 98Strong was founded to bridge the gap by partnering brands with those athletes who have 6,000 or less followers. Since launching in July, 98Strong has secured paid sponsorship deals for 500+ student athletes in all 24 NCAA sports, and has deals in the pipeline for 1000+ more athletes.
