Mission Statement:

Our mission is to simplify NIL by building powerful and easy-to-use tools that help every athlete maximize NIL opportunities — regardless of the sport they play, how they pursue NIL, how much time they want to dedicate to NIL, or how many followers they have.

Our platform makes it really easy for athletes to market themselves, get discovered, and build their personal brand. We give athletes their very own 'website' — and all the tools to grow & promote it — that instantly shows businesses, fans, and other supporters all of the different ways they can connect and collaborate with them. We currently serve ~15,000 student-athletes across all sports & divisions and are proud members of the NIL ecosystem.

About the Founder(s)/CEO(s):

Chris is a former DI student-athlete from Germany. As a tennis player for the Huskers, he developed a strong passion for helping athletes build & grow their personal brands to also highlight the 'human underneath the jersey'. Chris started FanWord in 2018 and currently helps thousands of athletes build, market, and monetize their personal brands. Chris earned his MBA from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
