Learn more about Wasserman and the family of brands at www.teamwass.comResponsible for supporting the day-to-day needs of talent marketing leadership, agents, clients and client service team members with a focus on NIL (NCAA & Highschool where states allow) talent sales & marketing, recruiting and client management. This includes sales, branding, accounts receivable, PR, charitable endeavors, and social media management. Participation in new business development efforts such as prospecting sales leads and marketing material development. Manage all barter and trade relationships related to our talent roster.Duties

  • Work with talent marketing leadership and agents to identify talent priorities in an effort to generate partnership revenue across the NIL roster (NCAA & Highschool where states allow).
  • Develop a local sales strategy and outreach plan in markets where Wasserman athlete play /live.
  • Manage all gifting, barter and trade partnerships related to the NIL roster.
  • Support baseball staff related to prospecting, outreach, industry research and sales materials.
  • Perform networking, research and solicit new business; create a target list of potential companies that may be interested in partnerships; make outbound sales calls; establish relationships that lead to endorsement deals.
  • Work with Wasserman legal and client school compliance departments to ensure client and brand partners are adhering to all NIL rules.
  • Stay up to date on evolving NIL regulations across states, conferences, and schools.
  • Support agents with NIL recruiting and day-to-day management efforts of NIL clients.
  • Participate in communication across all Wasserman talent verticals.
  • Update marketing material and create brand pitches as needed.
  • Follow trends and industry news that can provide perspective when managing sales outreach.
  • Meet both personal and department annual sales goals set by baseball leadership.
  • Contribute to partnership development across all other talent verticals.


  • Bachelor’s degree (Sports Management, communications, business administration, or finance a plus).
  • Must be customer service focused in order to provide the best possible support to clients and internal team members.
  • Possess persuasiveness skills to successfully negotiate on behalf of the client’s interests.
  • Requires considerable flexibility in scheduling and the willingness to work nights and weekends.
  • Ability to prospect and research marketing partnerships on behalf of the clients.
  • Requires a passion for sports and business.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
  • Strong understanding of social/digital media.
  • Well-developed communication skills and ability to interact with people of all demographics.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Requires self-management and project management abilities.
  • Ability to build strong, lasting relationships internally and externally.
  • Ability to anticipate problems and manage expectations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all situations.

Base salary range: $65,000-$65,000 plus bonus potential.Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
